Homeschool Classes!

My name is Melinda Stender and I have been an art teacher with the Clark County School District for 18 years. I've taught 4 years elementary at Kit Carson, and as an extra art teacher at 3 Southwest schools. 4 years at the middle school level at JD Smith and Fremont. Then 10 years at the High school level at Western, Coronado, and Green Valley.

I love teaching art, which is why I opened Clay Paper Ink because I wanted more people to have the opportunity to do art, crafts, and ceramics. I also know that we have a large homeschool population in Las Vegas and I want to be a resource for them. So we have a few offerings for kids. We do a specific project on Thursday mornings, and then we do a storytime and art class on Friday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. The storytime class is flexible because we can choose a book and art project based off of the students who attend that session. So we can tailor it to older kids, younger kids, or a mix.
